Job description
Due to the growing demand within our Geotechnics and Rock Mechanics teams, we are looking for individuals to support engineering projects by preparing technical drawings, 3D models, and visualizations of data related to geotechnics and/or rock mechanics. The work will be carried out from our office in Kraków and will involve close collaboration with our sister branch in Sweden (https://www.tyrens.se/en). Most of the projects are located in Scandinavia.
Requirements
- Technical education (e.g. engineering degree or similar) providing a basic understanding of geotechnical and/or rock mechanics concepts,
- Interest in CAD, 3D modeling, and automation of design processes, with a willingness to further develop primarily in these areas,
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Bentley, and ArcGIS environments,
- Openness to new technologies (e.g. AI, FME),
- Ability to work in a structured and organized manner and independently create project documentation and lists (e.g. tables of contents, model lists, delivery lists, etc.),
- Ability to read and interpret geotechnical drawings,
- Good command of English, both written and spoken,
- Approximately 3 years of professional experience,
- Experience in working in an international environment is a plus,
- Flexibility, honesty, and a strong work ethic.
Scope of Responsibilities
- Working with geotechnical and rock mechanics drawings and documentation in CAD,
- Creating 3D models and data visualizations,
- Performing tasks in ArcGIS and other digital modeling assignments,
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and coordinating with models from other disciplines,
- Actively cooperating with design teams located in Sweden.
