Role description

Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Graduate Structural Design Engineer to join our Kraków office and support our cooperation with AKT II in London on high-profile building projects (https://www.akt-uk.com/). AKT II’s outstanding reputation, stability and growth has attracted the very best professionals with the promise of progressing and expanding their careers. This continued growth has led to the expansion of the company into key geographies across the globe.

The role involves close day-to-day cooperation with the London teams. Projects are primarily located in the UK, with the possibility of involvement in international schemes (including the Middle East).

Eligibility criteria

  • recent graduate with a master’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering or related fields,
  • strong analytical and problem-solving skills,
  • excellent communication and teamwork abilities,
  • demonstrated passion for innovation and excellence,
  • good English skills.

 

Role and responsibilities

  • preparing conceptual and outline designs for structural schemes with support of the wider team,
  • preparing detailed design calculations to Eurocode and relevant design guidance notes using relevant 3D software packages,
  • preparing detailed design drawings and specifications for tender purposes,
  • supporting the production of construction information for issue to contractors,
  • day-to-day support to colleagues within the office,
  • attending team meetings with both internal and external disciplines.
